Peeps aren’t buying PS3 games [The Pixel Trade]
Remember, remember the 22nd of November. Xbox 360 launched in the US. You couldn't find them in stores. Pre-orders weren't on doorsteps. It was a total mess. Chaos. Meanwhile, entrepreneurs were selling a $299 unit for $800 on eBay.
It looks like the same thing is happening with the PlayStation 3. Famitsu (a Japanese game magazine) publisher, Enterbrain, reports that less than one game per console was sold in Japan. As Gamesindustry.biz points out, this probably means that a rather large after-retail market is developing for recently launched consoles.
eBay is sure to be brimming with "bargain-priced" deals this Friday. Gamesindustry.biz
