I JUST CALLED AND THEY ARE STILL HONORING THIS SALE, I DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO ASK ABOUT IT. THE WOMAN SAID IT WOULD BE LASTING A FEW MORE DAYS
I haven't had my XM activated for about year, so I got a letter that stated they were having a free 2 week trial for 60 of their channels commencing 11/17 - 11/30.
The letter then states at the bottom that if you sign up for a prepaid 5 month subscription you will receive all 170 channels for $19.99 (plus tax I imagine) - must sign up by 12/15/2009. Limit 4 subscriptions per account. Must cancel before the subscription is up to avoid the automatic monthly renewal.
Figured this wasn't a bad deal since the normal monthly cost is $12.95. And I assume that once the the initial 5 months are up you could negotiate another deal.
I know with XM its all about calling the right number, so if you are a current subscriber I would atleast give it a try.
CALL 1-877-296-0323 - maybe tell them you had multiple accounts, this one wasn't activated and you want to take the limit of 4 and activiate them all for the $20. Worth a shot right??
Tell them the letter was from Joe Zarella - Chief Service Officer. Dated Nov. 4th.
